Barrowford is a great central location for exploring the North West. Within a distance of 50 miles you can be at the coast, the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District and the cities of Manchester and Liverpool.

If you plan to stay closer to home there's plenty to keep you occupied, the rich history and natural beauty of the area is worth exploring.

Barley, Roughlee and Newchurch - are a just a few of the pretty villages in the shadow of Pendle Hill, where you can set off for a days walking.  Pendle Hill dominates the local landscape both visually and historically and is famous for the Pendle witches.

The area also offers a variety of shopping outlets from Boundary Mill and Junction 12 to exclusive independent boutiques.

Holmefield Gardens is ideally situated within a short walking distance of a number of bars, restaurants and pubs offering good quality food.
